From switching contexts to tracking separate P&Ls, managing more than one business entity is complex. Bzyness multi-business features make it manageable.

Many Indian entrepreneurs run more than one business — a physical retail outlet alongside an e-commerce operation, a parent company and a subsidiary brand, or a service firm and a product business. Each entity has its own GST registration, its own set of platforms, and its own P&L. Keeping these separate in your head while managing the day-to-day is exhausting.

Bzyness is built for this reality. Here is how to use multi-business features effectively.

The Business Selector

The Business Selector sits at the top of the left sidebar. Clicking it opens a dropdown of all your registered business entities. Selecting a different entity instantly switches the entire dashboard context — KPIs, platform connections, compliance checklist, and P&L — to that business.

There is no need to log out and log back in under a different account. All businesses are managed under one Bzyness login, with each entity maintaining full data isolation.

Separate P&Ls Per Entity

Each business entity has its own True P&L, Cost Management, and Sales & Revenue views. Platform integrations are entity-scoped: your Shopify store for Brand A and your Amazon seller account for Brand B stay separate and never aggregate unless you explicitly create a cross-entity report.

This matters for tax purposes as much as it does for operational visibility. If each business has a different GSTIN, the settlement data must remain separated for accurate return filing.

Seller Onboarding: Choosing Your Model

When adding a new business focused on e-commerce, Bzyness prompts you through a seller onboarding flow that asks you to identify your model: Private Label (you manufacture or source products under your own brand), Manufacturer (you produce directly and sell your own goods), or Reseller (you source from other brands and resell). Each model unlocks a slightly different default dashboard configuration and compliance checklist.

The model selection also informs the AI recommendations engine — a Private Label seller and a Reseller face very different margin pressures and competitive dynamics, and the AI Morning Brief adapts accordingly.

Unified Notifications Across Entities

Even though each business is isolated, the Notifications centre aggregates alerts across all your entities by default. An inventory warning for Brand A and a compliance deadline for Brand B both appear in the same notification feed, with an entity tag so you know which business needs attention.

You can filter notifications to a single entity if you prefer focused sessions, or keep the unified view for a daily overview.
